72 words or less in 72 hours? Sounded like a fun challenge! I joined the Facebook group FaceFlash72, which posts a twice-monthly prompt in which you have 72 hours to comment on the post with a story of 72 words or less that meets the prompt requirement. The October 2-5th challenge? Write a story composed completely of dialogue.

“And, class, I’m sorry to begin this way, but no utilizing AI to write your response papers.”
“I’m sorry too. I’m the one repeating the course.”

“You’re not paying tuition for me or AI to tell you what to believe.”
